Following the tips below can help assure the artwork you provide will achieve the dynamic results you want when your logo is screenprinted or embroidered on your promotional items. It can also help increase the efficiency and quality of the decorating process. Art that is "ready" for use is provided in an electronic file that can be used for pre-press and printing without making modifications. Below are a number of important considerations and tips to help get your art ready for decorating.

Acceptable Artwork Formats

Art work submitted for printing needs to be in an acceptable, ready to print format.

  1. For apparels, each area of print requires a separate individual file in the actual print size. For example, if you require screenprinting for both front and back, there should be 2 separate files, one for the front and one for the back.
  2. All colors should be separated into layers for optimal printing with a separate image of the final artwork. For example, all reds should be in one layer and all blues should be on another layer.
  3. We can accept Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, EPS or PDF files, in Macintosh or Windows format.
  4. When e-mailing artwork (to artwork@promostadium.com) please include PO# and company name in the subject line of your e-mail. Artwork received without proper order information will be held in a temporary file until we receive further information and this could delay shipment of your order.

      Artwork provided in the following forms are unacceptable for printing: on a fax sheet, scanned into a computer, on a business card, on a printed promotional item such as a napkin or matchbook cover.
